Technical Skills for a Better Life

This poverty-reduction program is designed to teach hair-dressing and sewing skills to 50 young women who would otherwise not have access to formal training. The goal is to help the women become self-reliant and, in the long term, promote socio-economic development.

Products from this project, gorgeous pillow cases, are sold in the 1% Fund’s Annual Christmas Sale Event. The proceeds are returned to the trainees.
