Sri Lanka:
Trishaws for Women

In this project we sent trishaws to Sri Lanka to a project that gave women training in driving. In the words of the local project manager, these wormen are trailblazers, wanting to ensure kids safe transport as the local men drove too fast. The trishaws were awarded on International Women’s Day, and the women will reimburse the organization responsible 1/2 the money over two years. Not only are these drivers trailblazers but this project is one of our greatest.
