Construction of three wells in the villages of Thioukougne, Foot and Ndawène, on the Atlantic coast, northwest of Mboro, Department of Tivaouane, Region of Thiès. This project was recommended by the Geneva 1% Fund who has given grants before with successful outcomes to the organization called Appui et Consultance en Développement Local (Acodel).

The funds were used to build three wells, which provide enough drinking water to serve the population and livestock from three neighboring villages. The health of the local population improved, as the quality of drinking water increased. Furthermore, as water became more easily available, locals spend less time collecting water, freeing them to engage in productive activities.

The Fund financed the construction material, transport and fees. The Geneva 1% Fund also contributed to the project.
